Well I've been working hard on Angel the past few weeks, while I don't think this is front-page worthy, I do feel that it is worth mentioning--only because it is freakin cool.

Angel underwent a UI overhaul and is now heavily using jQuery. This enabled us to easily work in some AJAX functionality along with some extra themeing capabilities. New UI aside, I've been trying to get heatmaps into Angel. If you're not familiar with heatmaps, they're basically visual "hot" and "cold" areas of data drawn as an overlay onto another image. Here's where we're at:

There's obviously some work that is left to be done around the alpha blending and transparency but we'll get there eventually. It is a lot harder than it seems.
